CCPS Health Curriculum - PLEASE READ

CCPS is requiring Health Instructors to contact families three times about curriculum choices, making it seem like parents must opt into one of the options. However, the Health Curriculum is actually an "Opt-Out" system. If no action is taken, students are automatically enrolled in the Maryland Framework. Parents must actively choose if they prefer their child NOT to take health or to enroll in the filtered CCPS curriculum. Despite the BOE's push for every parent to select a choice, this is not required.
